Jordy and Em South America Trip!

Over a few weeks we spent time in Quito (the capital of Ecuador) and some nearby towns!

Quito itself was beautiful, we really enjoyed staying in the old town. There were views of the Andes from all through the city!

From Quito we did an overnight trip to a nearby town, Otavalo. We originally went for the indigenous markets, but we were luckily there on the weekend of their annual festival!

We also took a day trip to the Mindo Cloud Forest two hours from Quito. We had a jam packed day, visiting a waterfall, bird sanctuary, butterfly house and even going zip lining through the forest (yes, Em too). The highlight of the day was feeding hummingbirds from our hands!
