Jordy and Em South America Trip!

Our first stop of the trip! After a very long few days of travel (made even longer by a flight delay and missed connection in Miami!) we finally arrived in Cartagena on the northern coast of Colombia!

We spent three days in Cartagena staying in the “walled city”. The highlight was a walking tour around the walled city and nearby neighbourhood, Getsemaní, with a local guide where we learned about the history of Cartagena.

On our last night we explored Getsemani again, where the small lanes turn into cocktail bars!

Next stop is Medellín, where we will be spending 10 days and completing a 5 day intensive Spanish course (it has become more apparent than ever how much we need it!)
